- Nope--I don't know for sure *which* extensions (if any) are advertised as
- SCSI-III. My memory must be playing tricks with me because I thought I
- remembered reading about this and thinking, "hey, but then my controller might
- be SCSI-III as well!". Just checked my facts and all I could find back was a
- remark in a review that whatever they called SCSI-III was apparently "SCSI-II
- compatible".

- So I'm not so certain anymore. But according to Stephan Schaem, there already
- are SCSI-III controllers on the market (and he appears to have used them).

- Stephan, could you tell us more about those controllers you mentioned? In what
- sense are they "RISC-based"? Why are they examples of PC chip technology when
- they are supposedly processor-independent (and even RISC-based)?
